Hello! I’m a writer and editor based in Chennai, creating essays, poems, recipes, and reported pieces on food, culture, and anthropology.

In 2020, along with Anna Sulan Masing, Holly Catford & JB Beroud, I co-founded CHEESE, the magazine of culture. The first issue was published in May 2021.  

I also run shelf offering, a newsletter on how past and present vantage points speak to each other, featuring essays focused on food and culture. shelf offering has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle & Taste.
